About
Bio
I grew up in the rural Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York, and currently live in the foothills west of Fort Collins Colorado. Photography is a serious hobby for me, my real job is software engineering. This web site is the culmination of my photography hobby, my computer & software backgound, and my love for the outdoors.
I like to use film for image capture, because it results in higher resolution and quality at a reasonable cost. I can easily achieve 100 Mega Pixel images from 4x5 film, which allows the creation of very detailed large format prints. Don't get me wrong though, I still like using digital cameras. See my gallery for a collection of images from various digital cameras. Prints are available for those who are interested, both large and small format.
